Spring Mill Elementary School Schedule

Arrival:

School begins at 7:50 a.m.  Students who arrive after 7:50 a.m. will receive tardy slips. Punctuality is a highly valued life skill. Please ensure that your child is at school on time every day.

We encourage all our families to have students ride the school bus. However, to make it possible for a large number of car-riders to get to school on time, we open our doors at 7:30 a.m. and provide supervision for students until 7:40 a.m. when they transition to their classroom to begin their day. The tardy bell is meant to help if your child is late once in a while. Just as we adults need to be punctual at work, students need to be at school on time. The grown-ups at home are responsible for elementary students attending school on time. We appreciate your help in taking care of this. Remember that Spring Mill Road is typically busy around arrival and dismissal time and plan drop-off and pick-up accordingly.

We do not have staff available to supervise students before 7:30 a.m. DO NOT drop off your child before this time

If your child is tardy, you MUST come to the main office and sign in your child.

Please be respectful of our neighbors who live on 83rd Street and ALWAYS give them room to enter and exit the street.

Dismissal:

Transportation changes and early student pick ups must be made by 1:30pm.  Students are dismissed at 2:30 p.m.  Parents of car-riders are required to wait in their cars at the curb while their children are called by staff. Please do not leave your car unattended during dismissal.

All car-riders MUST walk into the gym before they are dismissed to parents/other adults picking them up.

Cafeteria Information – New Guidelines:
