Drop-off and Pick-up for Car Riders:
Spring Mill parents must follow drop-off and pick-up procedures at all times. These procedures are meant to help us address safety and security during arrival and dismissal for 700+ students. Click the button below to download a copy of our arrival and dismissal procedures. Please remember to drive your vehicle slowly inside our campus and avoid texting. Safety is our collective responsibility.

Procedures

Parent Visits to Classrooms
Parents are always welcome and encouraged to visit their child’s classroom. All visitors must check with the office staff before going to the classroom, and always wear a name tag indicating that they have signed-in. Parents are encouraged to call teachers in advance to ensure that visiting a particular classroom will not interfere with testing or other special situations. Parents who wish to speak with their child’s teacher must schedule an appointment. Your cooperation with these expectations will allow us to ensure that instructional time is not interrupted. Thank you for your support.

Parent Volunteers
Spring Mill encourages the participation of parent volunteers in many aspects of the functioning of our school. Volunteers assist teachers with clerical tasks, tutor small groups of children under the direction of the teacher, listen to children read, support students with class projects, help as room parents, act as chaperones on field trips and support the school with many other activities. All volunteers must sign-in, always wear an ID label and follow procedures set up by the school. A Limited Criminal History background check is mandatory. It may take up to two weeks for a background check to clear. Volunteers must complete required paperwork at least two-weeks before an activity/event to give us adequate time to process the background check.
